
National Switchgear implements SAP Business One

National Switchgear offers a broad line of new and remanufactured electrical switchgear products and onsite acceptance and equipment reliability testing services. Additionally, the corporation provides a variety of electrical power system engineering services such as arc flash studies and mediation services.
National Switchgear is in the final stages of fully implementing SAP Business One. This software will allow the company to better anticipate a variety of issues ranging from inventory needs, customer purchasing habits, and overall improved account visibility for both vendor and customer relations.
The SAP Business One application integrates all core business functions across your entire company – including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory, and operations. Unlike many other small business solutions on the market today, SAP Business One is a single application, eliminating the need for separate installations and complex integration of multiple modules.
SAP/B1 will allow for an enhanced look into National’s inventory to speed up customer responsetime. It will lead to better visibility on all individual and customer needs so that they can analyze patterns and better prepare for the future needs of their clients. This will also give assistance to vendors so that they can work more efficiently with National to serve their customers.
National Switchgear hopes to eventually take this process even further. With the finalization of their new website to assist them in this process, National Switchgear would like to create a customer log-in system. This would allow customers to securely log-in to National’s system, browse inventory, place and track orders, and observe their project’s status online.
